I took prednisone for 6 days - weaned off. I took it for poison ...

I do not know how long the side effects will last. I would like to know what was your starting doseage and how were you tapered. Good Luck.

Prednisone for 6 days doesn't have to be weaned off. Also, the so called side effects aren't related to prednisone in any way. Where did you read being in a fog was a side effect to prednisone? Am I an expert? Not in the sence you might mean but I was on it for 5 long years and those aren't any of the side effects my pamphlet listed.
Weight GAIN, irratability, facial hair, moon face etc. are prednisone symptoms but they don't happen with a 6 day prescription.
