I was on it for about two months and experienced a little of the upset stomach. The worst was the sunburn on my nose, hands, knuckles and tops of my toes. And the tingling sensation on my hands was so weird! My nose and hands have healed, but the tops of my toes are still bad (one month later!!) I'm really scared, but one of my docs say that toes take a really long time to heal because of poor circulation. Anyone have this problem with their toes?? Another doc suspects discoid lupus. yikes!

I just wanted to reply that I have had the same thing happen to me with my toes, but also my left hand which is really bad!! I have people looking at me all the time because it looks that bad!! I kept telling myself it's just a sunburn cuz I knew with this medicine that you aren't able to go out in the sun, but it just didn't really ever go away. I would use sunblock and it just didn't do me any good!! It would look as if it was getting better and then a day or two I would look at it and look as if it had gotten worst. After my mother telling me over and over to go to a doctor I did. The stupid doctor told me that I had psoraris, but had also tested me for lupus, which came back neg. I found this site and read what others were saying so I stop the meds and its been five days and its already is getting better. The thing is the meds were really working for my acne and I think thats why I let my hand get as bad has it did. For once my skin was looking good.

The sunburn on your left hand may be from the sunlight through the windshield when your hand is on the steering wheel! That is what happened to me. Sunscreen was totally ineffective for me as well. Also, there are many different oral medications that can be used to treat acne that do not make you hyper-sensitive to the sun (if your doc hasn't already switched you to one). Are your toes getting any better?? What did your doc say about that?

Seriously have had the same problems with toes and as well my fingers. I did see other postings that I've had similar reactions to and did not relate them to the meds. Like driving with the sun shining on my hands...even in heat not in the sun, the toes and fingers burn like hell! Also the feeling of hands and toes of ice when under water. Even the dizziness and feeling faint, and also the chest pains. I just spoke w/my dermatologist and these in fact are a result of the medication. Instead of oral treatment, I am getting some samples of a topical treatment to see if this will help. I'll let you know what I find and if it works as well, picking up samples tomorrow. I've been taking for acne, and it did work well, other than these reactions.
