I don't know if this is true for everyone but for me, the over emotional part with the mood swings is severe, enough where it is interfeering with my life, to the point where I don't want to get out of bed anymore, and guess what?? I have a great life, nothing to be upset or stressed about, so its not just that time of the month, its the nuvaring.

Are you suggesting that the many women who have reported mood swings (borderline psychotic breakdowns) due to the nuvaring are simply experiencing pms? Most women are pretty in tune with their bodies and minds and can tell the difference between pms-ing and having irrational mood swings, and in some cases personality changes. You may be one of the lucky ones that is able to take BC without experiencing these unfortunate side effects, however, I can most definitely speak for myself when I say that the it is without a doubt the nuva ring that has caused me to sometimes want to punch my perfect boyfriend for no reason. It is NOT just pms, it's a side effect from unnatural hormones in my body. I remember pms-ing, and look forward to the joys of those gentle mood swings, compared to the wrath I feel on the ring... As soon as I take mine out for the last time tonight.
