I am so excited to see this post because my doctors won't believe that being a side affect! They say that there is no way that bc the nuva ring is made out of something special. I got on it right before my wedding and I was in the hospital on my honeymoon 2 months after starting nuva ring and had 1 if not 2 utis every month that I was on it after that! I went to a urologist and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. My bills racked up to almost $8,000 bc the docs where doing mris, scopes, 2 er visits I thought at one point I was dieing bc i was in so much pain! I am 21 and healthy! Finally after being on the ring 9 months I went to a new doctor and told her I would like to try the pill and I haven't had a single problem since! I feel better I have a sex drive again and my emotions are steady!
