My dermatologist put me on Yaz a little less than 2 weeks ago for...

I had the same thing when I first started this pill.. I had my period for about 2-3 weeks on and off.. Then after the first month and became regulated.I originally had a period of about 6 days, but then after I started this new one.. my flow was very heavy. I also felt nauseated with this pill, but I don't know if its the pill that causes this. I originally started out with the low dose yasmin.. and that worked better for me I thought than this new yaz one...

I've been on Yaz for three and a half weeks, and on my period the entire time. I called my doc and she switched me to Lo-estrin, which apparently has lower amounts of estrogen, which may be what's causing all this crappy stuff to happen. Hope this helps! You definately aren't alone.
