I was placed on Leviquin January 2007 for pneumonia and within 3 days the back of my knee hurt. I called the Dr. She told me that sometimes the drug causes joint problems and to go off of it. However, since January I have had severe back knee pain and weakness in my legs and feet. I can barely walk somedays. I have been to 3 doctors with a total of 4 visits and they all stated it was poor veins or bad circulation. Yesterday I went to the Dr. again because the pain when I walk is affecting my job. The Dr. stated she believed I have cartilage damage and took an xray and I will soon have a MRI. After reading these blogs I am positive Leviquin created the joint pain and weakness in my legs. I have experienced constant pain...since January with no prior problems before that. I too believe there should be a class action lawsuit because this is a very dangerous drug and needs to be pulled off the market. I pray everyday my legs will get better so I will be able to walk without pain. I am not sure it will ever go away. -Sally
