Hello,
I am a nurse and was prescribed Levaquin a week ago for bronchitis . The first 2 days I had insomnia and felt " somewhat crazy", but it was helping clear my chest. On day three I developed a headache and neck pain that was awful . I started to question the drug and the pharmacist told me not to worry . Yesterday I woke up and the muscle pain was so bad.. and my right side of my face was droping and my eye lid. I went to the Emergency room because I thought I was having a stroke. All the test came back negative and they thought it was Bells Palsy, I asked if it could be the Levaquin . They sort of thought "NO" but no promises. I tell you , I am not taking another pill.. and I am so worried after I went on line and read about six hundred complaints simular to mine and long term side affects. I hope your friend gets better and pray for him..say one for me. This drug is so powerful they should really have us sign a consent of understanding of the side effects
