I received a kenalog injection for coccyx pain March 2007. I have noticed the following side effects: nausea, heightened anxiety, insomnia, night sweats, loss of appetite, fatigue and severe generalized itching. It is now August and I am still experiencing these problems. I have a question. Has anyone out there noticed their blood sugar increasing? I am trying to see if this is separate or related to the injection.

I too have experienced night sweats, anxiety, insomnia, muscle spasms, Internal tremors, deppression, i had a kenalog 40 shot on august 14 and am still experiencing some side effects. I do not think it has affected my blood sugar. Hope you feel better as the days go by.

One of the VERY few side effects that my doctor did warn me about was an increase in blood pressure and blood sugar. Hope you are doing better now.
