I had the same side effects. It was absolutely horrible. I couldn't leave the house from the pain and diahrreah. My doctor no longer prescribes this drug because so many get sick from it.l

I have had basically the same symptoms. Stomach cramping, non stop diarrhea, achy joints. All I ate today was a small bowl of Cheerios for breakfast, late day i had some toast and I couldn't keep that in. I wish I had known about all of this before I took this dreadful medication. I have missed two days of college. I am 41 and can't afford to miss any days. I will be calling the doctor back again tomorrow. I will never take this stuff again or let my family take it. Thank you for posting this information. How do I get the diarrhea to stop? I have a family to take care of and life can't just stop for three days because I can't get away from the bathroom!
