I have had extreme charlie horselike pain in my calves and behind...

I had the very same symptoms with Lipitor and Crestor. The cramping was excruciating. After discontinuing the drugs the symptoms went away but my LDL sky rocketed. My doctor then put me on Vytorin. It did very well with it for over a year; but within the past month I am having major problems. Not the cramping this time, but severe pain in my legs with extreme weakness. That has now moved to my arms. I have taken myself off the med and have an appt. on Wed. with the Doc. These statin drugs scare me to death. Good luck to you.
