Hi heshelb,
I've just read your comment and wanted to share that I've been on Levoxyl only since April. I've been suffering with a lot of the same symptoms you've shared for nearly 4 years now. It all started about 9 months before I had my hysterectomy....and still it continues. I wasn't put on hormones until 15 months after my complete hysterectomy because I also suffer from Polycythemia, a thickening of the blood, and estrogen can also contribute to the risk factors. The estrogen has helped with the sweating some, but I still have bouts of heat flares that cause me to sweat profusely for 15 minutes or so. I am also irritable, edgy, inside tremors, unable to stay asleep, have a weird sensation when I am falling asleep, and my memory is also poor. I've complained to my doctor also that I constantly feel like eating like my body is trying to balance my blood sugar levels. I've been tested and I do have hypoglycemia along with hypotention. I just wanted to post this because it sounded like we shared a lot of syptoms in common along with the levoxyl, but like I mentioned, levoxly is fearly new for me though I was on Synthroid for 17 years and then pulled off that for the last 3 years because my thyroid decided to start working on it's own for a bit. Anyways, I've been through tons of tests with different doctors and everything always comes out fine...I still think it's a hormone problem somewheres...like a hypothalumus disorder or something. I spend a lot of time crying because there seems to be no help for me anywhere. Thanks for listening and I hope you are feeling better by now and that your doctor has come up with a solution for you.
Michelle
