Daniel, great information, however, I have to wonder after reading your reply to everyone here who is suffering, what your motive is. This board has been here since 2001 (I believe) I would think an educated bloke like yourself would have posted long before this to warn us all or perhaps put up a website and made a big stink of it. I am not sure what your post is about, I did notice after I posted what my doctor stated (in english) that the medication causes tendinitis and that it breaks down all the muscles rapidly you posted with almost the same information (only in technical terms). So, I question your motives here and wonder if you're trying to help us or ridicule us? Fighting for ourselves IS not going to help us when we are in pain, we need to find a cure for what is going on inside our bodies and no one seems to have found one as of yet. NOT ONE person who has had the burning knees and ripping achilles has come forward to say that they are 100% back to normal. "Fight for yourselves instead of just panicing over symptoms. That could kill you whether you stop or not the drugs" is what you said and that makes NO sense to me at all. Again, I don't know if you're trying to help us or not, but if you don't have the side effects, then you have not one miniscule of an idea of what it feels like. I am trying to find some help in your post and it's fabulous for those people who have not taken it yet, but it does those of us who have taken it no good. EVERY drug on the market today states the dangers and they are all scripted, Levaquin states this is a "RARE" side effect and it's not. What we need to do is report it to the company so they can report it to the FDA so that people (like myself and many others) who would have NO idea whatsoever that an antibiotic can dibilitate you can be aware if it's listed as a "common" side effect and has to be put in bold letters on the bottle or at least in the first couple of sentences of the book of literature of side effects that comes with most medications that are stapled hidden behind your receipt when you pick up your medication. So, if you have some information for us, or another symptom you would like to post, we would love to hear about it and support you, but if you are coming here to those of us who are hurting and in pain that we need to READ, then it's too late, but thanks for your imput.

Look, I had just found this site when I posted. Then I thought to be helpful with the information I had sought and gotten based on clinocal experience some time ago. You may think it all soooooo technical, but I think it something any of you could get clarified from a dictionary. But rather than foolishly suspecting my motives-- what good would that do tou yo or anyone else(???)-- why not just realize that we are all being MIS-informed by TV commercials for drugs. As one educated under communism, let me say that the PROPAGANDA of the Red regimes is nothing compared to the crap of TV drug commercials. Both have one notion in common: you are a dumb ignorant tropistic (that means + or - simple imprinted response) to SIGNALS rather than responsive to INFORMATION....Worst still, those drug corporation entrepreneurs (French for the guy inbetween taking from both sides) think that physicians are as dumb as, they believe, you are. Proof of that is that, except for the micro-print srib sheet with the samples, the "information" contained in prescribing literature for doctors is dumb crap (vetted by a liability lawyer, not a clinician); and, a cute chick in mini-skirt who got a college degree in jazz ballet is sent to tell your doc how to use the damned drug....By the way, she doesn't show up in court to hold the desperate doctor's hand. Get clear one thing: AMERICA IS SINKING IN BUSHIT. HE is their stooge-chimp and you are the victims of the new Republican brave-new-world snake-oil America. You voted in that sub-primate, you cheered when he sought to destroy Medicare by giving away its dwindling assets to the drug companies and you are the dummies that don't go IMMEDIATELY to your doctor and demand that he read the peer-reviewed publications of these damned drugs before telling you to keep taking it. But Americans are kept dumb so they will be a managable hurd. Think this way, at least you are not a self-sacrificing patriotic hero who enlisted after 9/11 and found himself fighting to make Iraq safe for oil companies, not democracy. But America is STILL a democracy; what is done is done in your name and so YOU are responsible. If you are outraged, don't just post symptoms; instead, study causes and contact your congressman and tell him that next election day you will feed him to your dog along with all the plastics the Chinese put in his dog food.
