I just got it "installed" on Monday, August 6th... I experinced ...

I had mine inserted July 7 2007, and I have sinced gained weight, about 10 or so lbs, but all in my midsection. I had it inserted 7 weeks after the birth of my third child. I have always had very high metabolism and lost the baby weight easily each time, including after my third. Since having it inserted I have actually gained weight despite exercising and eating less. I have been very tired and have trouble falling asleep before 3am, its like my mind is always racing no matter how tired my body feels. Two weeks ago, my hair started to fall out. I haven't noticed any bald spots, but there is enough hair falling out after each shampoo to alarm me (at least two handfulls). I also had cramps in my legs the first 3 weeks after the insertion and sharp abdominal and pelvic pains. I have had no sex drive, it makes me feel like I am going to throw up, and I just don't feel anything down there. I never would have made the connection with all of these symptoms if I hadn't visited this site. I will call tomorrow to have it removed.
