I also take Ambien (thank God for it!) and have for 8 years. I took Remeron also for a while and had the same experience with nightmares so I stopped. My wife was having sleeping problems and took my remeron to help her sleep. It did help her sleep ans she started having bizzarre sex dreams that caused her to orgasm while sleeping. She lubricated and convulsed as if we were having fantastic sex. Starnge how this had different effects on us but also in the same way as in bizzarre dreams.
