I've always had problems with leg cramps but now, since I've started taking Advair, every muscle in my body cramps -- BADLY. So I'm done, I'm going to call the doctor Monday a.m. & tell him I've stopped the medication. I just thought it was a fluke and I was having a bad time (have done that), but since getting on here and seeing that other people have had this problem, I'm sure it's the Advair. Occassionally I've forgotten a dose & the cramps have gotten better. So now I'm putting 2/2 together. As much as Advair has helped my cough, it's put me in so much pain I can't get one hrs. sleep before I have to jump out of bed and try walking a cramp out, during the day my back, arms, hands, chest, stomach muscles are all cramping painfully while I'm trying to work.

I too get cramps. It started soon after I began taking Advair for my asthma. The asthma is better, however the cramps occur wherever I use a muscle to 30+ strength and am holding that muscle for a time, sufficient to cause the cramping. Usually 5 to 10 seconds. Sometimes, when in bed and I rotate my ankle to crack it, My calf muscle cramps. To stop it I have to stand up. Sometimes, it is so bad, I walk to get rid of the cramp. The cramp usually subsides immediately when I walk. If the cramp is allowed to cramp more, well, that is a very bad idea. Get up right away. It is very disturbing, especially when your GP says that it isn't the Advair. My allergy doctor said that it is a side affect of using Advair. Cramps have occured regularly in my hands, arms, neck, back, butt, legs, and toes. I'm still taking Advair until something else is prescribed.
