I am a 42 year old woman who gets reactive asthma every time I get a cold. My doctor always puts me on Singular to help clear my wheezing and coughing. I usually only take it for 1 - 2 months and then stop. This time I noticed some changes in my body that I am wondering if it is due to the Singular. I have a pain in my left side of my abdomen and I am bloated all the time. I have gained weight too. I was wondering if anyone else has ever had symptoms like these from taking Singular? If they don't go away after stopping the Singular I guess I will have to check things out.

Yes I have to the E.R twice since I started the Singulair. My stomach is very bloaded, I look pregnant. Stomach flu like symtoms. I took all kind of blood test everything was negative, they told me to take antidepressent meds since it is also making me very emotional.
