I was previously on Alesse for 2 years with no problems but recently(3 months ago) my doctor switched to the generic Aviane. I have been so angry and emotional, it is wrecking my relationship. I had no idea it was because of the pill until I mentioned it to a friend and she told me about this side effect. I wish my doictor had told me. Everything else is great I have a very light period that only lasts about two days, and no cramping.
