I used Nuva Ring about a year ago and decided to stop using it due to major mood swings, (Going from laughing to crying in a split second) but I recently decided to try it again, as I liked the conveinence of it and the fact that it's the only birth control I've used that hasn't made me gain weight. Well, I've had the ring in for about 2 weeks now and I'm not liking it!!! I've been feeling extremely fatigued, nauseas, constipated, experiencing heartburn, having brown spotting and abdominal cramping. I don't know if I should keep this thing in or take it out. Right now, I'm feeling sooo nauseas I'm contemplating going to the hospital.

Take it out and go to emergency room. I had not apparent issues aftr using for 3 weeks. Then last Friday I had a cramp in my leg and swelling and was admitted into hospital. I have a Blood Clot. Serious. All indications point to Nuva Ring. Google and do more research. Serious side effects like the patch. There seems to be litigation against both.
I am SO ANGRY. Angry with myself that i did not read side effects, even though I had just had physical 1 month befor and was healthy. Angry that it is still on the market. You have signs that need to be shared with a doctor.
Good Luck

you need to understand that you must give your body time to get used to the birth control. i know that you are unhappy but i am on it too and i have "cluster headaches" and really bad itching but most of your side effects should go away after your body gets used to the new hormones.
