Hi so you and I are the same age and i am going to do alot of writting here so hang with me.... My problem started ironically enough the day before my 23 b-day! I had 4 panic attacks for no reason, this panic attacks were followed by savere anxiety and Obsessive compulsive thoughts. I went to the Doctor and she gave me Zoloft and i took that for a week right along with the Birth control. What a week from hell I was depressed, and Anxious saverely to say the least. When i decided zoloft wasn't for me my mother pointed out that most of my changes have occured since i started my new BC in march! We agreed and so i stopped since i stopped the Scarry OCD thougths have gone away! I am still a little anxious but gradually i am started to feel better! What a roller coaster, Now i realize i am no Dr and don't have a law degree but we woman know our bodies! After researching every mental illness under the sun I realized that i was having symptoms of OCD, and after reading up on it i have come to realize that i have had these symptoms since i was a small child but they had gone away! What i have read on OCD is that pregnant women have bouts with it. In my oppinion it only makes since that putting a pregnancy hormone in your body would have some side affects of a pregnant woman, Hince OCD! I haven't read this anywhere but it is my oppinion like i said. only time will tell but as for me i went off the pill it's been 6 wks and i am starting to get better! Hang in there i know how your feeling. Try to use your mind over any matters as difficult as it can be. I have come to realize that medications can be pretty harmful so be careful. Im sure you know that with your background. Sorry to write a novel hopefully it will help!
P.S. Do you find it odd that all these women have similar side affects and there aren't nearly as many complaints of side affects to other BC?
I meant medical degree!
