Hi, A cardiologist prescribed Lisnopril 10mg for me three days ago because my BP was above 160/90 even though I was taking HCTZ. All day yestersday, I was extremely energyless. I went to the gym to see my trainer, but could not lift a finger to exercise. I feel like I have a fever, but I do not have one. I've had headache since yesterday. I slept 10 hours last night, but woke up still extremely tired and unable to function properly. I have dizziness, uneasiness, shortness of breath, tightness in the chest area, and I feel strain around my eyes. Today, I went to the emergency room, because I knew something was seriously wrong with my heart or that my blood count was low. There was nothing. After reviewing several postings on this site, I realize these are side effects of Lisinopril. As of today, I am off this. I wil see my physician on Monday. Hopefully, she will understand.
