i am going on the shot soon is that all that you really had to deal with or was there alot more side affects then that.

I took my sixth injection on 8-18-07. I WAS SO EXCITED TO BE DONE!!! My side effects prior to the last injection were very bad but not constant...I had hot flashes, night sweats, more migraines, joint and bones aches, severe memory loss, weight gain, emotional unsteadiness...but yesterday a co-worker noticed that I am losing alot of hair...I am 25 years old and I am balding/thinning hair...I am at my wits end with this drug. Not to mention I have begun experiencing CRAMPS...all I can think is...isnt that why i went thru this hell so I dont have to have debilitating cramps...The part that bothers me so much is when i want to discuss these symptom with my MD, she typically says she will treat the sysmtpoms but she doesnt think they are related to the lupron...despite everything I have read about this drug. I HATE LUPRON DEPOT...

It's not worth it. Stop taking it right away. I took Lupron 10 years ago. Oddly enough, I only just found out about all the issues Lupron causes. The side effects were a nightmare. I thought my husband would divorce me if I didn't stop taking the shot. I only took four shots. I couldn't bear the anger, the mood swings and the hot flashes. Now here I am 10 years later suffering with migraines (these started during my pregnancy 5 months after Lupron), joint pain and memory issues. I am 41 and should not have these problems. I feel now that Lupron was the cause. If I new then in 1997 what I know now, I never would have taken that drug. Do yourself a favor stop the drug. I took this drug for endometriosis, which did not help. I ended up with a lapraotomey (spelling?) surgery. They removed a cyst and lasered scar tissue. Since the removal of some of the scar tissue, I don't have the extreme pain I use to have. Granted, I am sure having three prenancies and breastfeeding the three children helped immensly. I wish you luck in your search for help. I hope I can find an end to my pains.
