this is my third week on topamax, second week at 50mg. am and 50mg. pm. I am taking this for bi-polar mood disorder. I made the switch after 5 years of neurotonin and a 40 pound weight gain. I am doing fine except for the horrible morning diarrhea, I don't even make it to the bathroom in time. I am a 54 yr. old female in menopause and am hoping that the morning bombings over Tokyo will eventually go away. I am very tolerant with side effects since I know that once my body becomes accustomed to the new meds they will go away but this one has me freaked a bit. Can anyone shed some light?? Thanks! Margie
