I was recently diagnosed with Hoshimotos Thyroiditis. It's only been three days since I have been on the Levoxyl (100 mcg), but I am feeling slight chest pain and tingling in my face. My heart isn't racing though; it's just a dull pain! I am nervous that it will continue to increase and that other symptoms will come about. Just reading about people's experienced on this site has made me nervous too! Has anyone ever experienced this and if so, did other symptoms follow? Thanks for your feedback!!!

My Mom has a lot of the tingling in her face, numbness in her lips, leg cramps, shortness of breath, lips burning, face feels drawn, her eyes burn, she has pain in her hands and fingers, her neck stays stiff, she itches a lot, she has lots of burning sensations, flushing, loss of concentration, and she has a hard time thinking straight and remembering things. She has been to her doctor numerous times and he never took her seriously and basically said that if he didn't know her he would think she was psychotic. These are symptoms that are very real, very frustrating, and very hard to deal with. She has made an appointment with her doctor to switch to something else.
