After taking Doxy for only four days I woke up in the middle of the night with major heartburn (something I'd only heard about before!). I stopped it the next day and now two days later still dealing with the same symptom!! I guess I'll try a lower dose later on. Just be warned it's true about eating a LOT with doxy....if you don't you pay the price. Just hope I tolerate this medication next time round as it is currently the only treatment for tropical sprue, a result of a wonderful trip around INDIA!!! Ahhh the joys of travelling in Asia ! ! ! !
