OMG! Yes! Me! I thought I was losing my mind.

I have been on Prednisone about six months. Began w/60 mg. for 6 wks then 40, 20 and now on 10 mg. and hoping to got to zero soon. ?? When I dropped from 20 mg. to 10 I began to have some joint & muscle pain and noticed numbness in my left shoulder; left hand, etc. especially in my index finger of the left hand. I attribute this either to some sort of withdrawal mechanism or just the effects of being on the drug for so long. My hope is once I can get completely off the drug I will see these latest symptoms eliminated. ?? My Dr. seems not too concerned w/it all. W/the lower dosage I have fewer episodes of hand shaking and nervouse/jittery feelings which border on near mental panic. The drug is clearing my lungs as hoped but it does bring other challenges.
