Your doctor is not telling you the whole truth. I experienced some of the same things and you can see under some of my previous posts that I not only experienced migraines for the first time in my life, I was having signs of a stroke and every single side effect that the packet says you may experience. I have no aggravating factors such as smoking that has cause all of this. Please read the packet and research the hell out of this pill. I have stopped taking this and after about a month now, the migraines and all symptoms are gone except for my hair is still falling out. My dr did blood work and everything checked out. I analyzed everything I had changed in the 5 months that i was on the pill and nothing changed except for that. Some doctors will try to attribute stress....BUT listen to me when I say there are women in there 20's having signs of stroke and actually having strokes and they are on this pill. Please listen to your body and trust your instincts that something is seriously wrong.
I have had some of the same side effects you mentioned. The thing that struck me about your posting was your arguments with your boyfriend. I have the sweetest most adoring boyfriend ever and I catch myself picking fights with him lately. Even during the fight I will wonder why I am bringing the issue up again. I have been on the pill for four months. We have arguments over little things. He hates to argue, so he tells me "you will realize this is a small thing". I have a hard time letting things go though, since I have been on the pill. Until I read these postings I also thought I was always right. I haven't felt as happy as I used to or as social. I got on the pill a month before he came home from an eight month deployment and I hate that he has experienced a moody and argumentative girlfriend his first three months back. I am also usually a very confident person and lately I find myself lacking in that area. I definitely feel more emotional. I contacted my doctor's office today and when the doctor gets in she is going to prescribe me something different. I can't wait to be back to normal.
hi,you are NOT crazy or blaming everything on this pill, the hearing thing is totally to do with the yasmin,i have had a blocked sensation in my ear for the last 2.5 years. I have been off yasmin for 14 months now and it still has not cleared,i have tried soooo many treatments for it!
your moods and your tolerance of other people is almost certainly down to yasmin too.don't be surprised if your dr tells you it has nothing to do with yasmin,it does!
i was also on dienette for years with never so much as swollen boobs or period pains,on yasmin i was sooo ill both physically and mentally.
google yasminsurvivors and you will find another website that is very useful and that will provide some good tips for how to make a good recovery.
