severe dry hacking cough and raspy voice...

I started lisinipril about 3 months ago and shortly thereafter developed a severe retching cough. It is productive of clear phlegm and cough is then relieved for a short period until it happens all over again. This happens many times a day & 3-4 times every night. Sometimes I retch so hard that I almost vomit. Anyone else?

yes, exact same symptoms, deep cough, incredible itch in lungs, non productive cough until finally wretch out a handfull of clear phlegm... not sure if phlem is coming from lungs or stomach... the cough began immediatly after the onset of new meds- lisinopril with hydroclorathiazide.
