I hate this pill. I have been on it for four months and have had two periods every month. I get my "first" period on my second week of pills and my "second" period at the normal time. My first period is pretty heavy with cramps...the works. The second is more normal and shorter. This pill is horrible. Also my breasts are swollen and I am tired all the time. I want to switch but am scared that I will just be swapping side effects with another pill.

If you have taken it 4 consecutive months and are having irregular periods then you may need a higher dose of estrogen. You could try Femcon FE. I will tell you that you sound very estrogen sensitive. Loestrin24 is the lowest dose pill available (20mcg) if you switch to something else you may experience more side effects like breast tenderness, nausea, headaches. I would take the loestrin 24 for one more month. Take each pill at the same time every day. Don't skip any. If you have to set an alarm as a reminder. Also, keep in mind if you are taking other medications with a birth control pill you could make the pill less effective. This could cause irregular bleeding!!! Stick it out another month and see with happens!
