Hi all... Started taking Lisinopril three weeks ago. WOW! This stuff is interesting at best. My blood pressure did come down... but so low i was fainting. i was in bed for the first two days. felt like i was on deaths door. i cut my dosage in half after talking to my doctor, and was able to atleast get out of bed. BUT THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE TERRIBLE! Severe, severe, severe depression, feeling tired, weakness, heart pains, sleep loss and too much sleep at the same time (sounds funny, but i don't fall asleep 'til 3-4am then want to sleep all day). The worst for me though is the Depression! i'm the happiest guy you'd ever meet. a wonderful wife and 4yr old daughter... this drug makes me miserable. But... the blood pressure did go down. i was 190 over 100 often for no reason. this did help... but i'll have to find something different, cause i don't want to spend my life in bed. Joe L.
