i am now on my 3rd week of femcom and i don't know what to think. I have recently moved to england from america for school leaving behind a 3 and a half year relationship with my boyfriend(staying together though) and family and friends. I have felt depressed since about the second day i started it. I cry every day and just don't feel like myself. Im not sure if that's the pill or the homesickness but i think it's both. Ive actually lost 5 pounds since being on this since i have no appetite now. the depression i feel is going away but ive had bleeding for about a week and a half now. I just wanted to know how long the bleeding/spotting lasts for and will that offsett my period which is due in 1 week now? thanks so much guys....oo and how many months will the irrgular bleeding last?

That sucks. The irregular bleeding was an issue for me too, as well as the emotional thing. I had breakthrough bleeding the first two months, but not the third month. Then it happened again on the fourth month. The fifth month, nothing. Yay! I haven't started the sixth month yet, but I think it has stopped... hopefully. Femcon's website says it's completely normal to have breakthrough bleeding the first 2-3 months, but for me it was a little off. And just because you have breakthrough bleeding, that doesn't stop your normal period from coming. It still does (at least mine did). However, mine was lighter than normal. I think because my body couldn't physically bleedthat much. Good luck.
