I ran across this web site after trying to figure out what was causing all my aches and pains. After I started taking Vytorin, I first noticed severe shoulder and neck pain. Other symptoms includes, headaches, depression, anxiety, moody, chest pains, joint pains, nausia, and feeling extremely tired. After visiting this site, I have taken my LAST vytorin. Now I just hope the side effects go away soon. Im 53 but feel 83.

Please do not stop taking your medication immediately. I would cut your dose in half for one week, then go down to 1/4 for the second week. I have had a very heart wrenching experience discontinuing medication immediately. It almost always ends in your side effects worsening, ten-fold. Please save your self, and take may advise. Atleast cut down your dose to half for a week. Even that could make a difference in your experience while coming off of the drug.

What type of side effects would I expect by stop taking the medication. I have only been taking it for a month or so.
