I took doxycycline for Lyme Disease last year and I was so sick that I was in bed for 5 days. As soon as my doctor switched my antibiotic, I immediately started to feel better, you may want to ask your doctor for another antibiotic for acne, I know there are many, I was on some in the past for acne also. In addition to the meds your doctor gives you, try Proactiv for the acne, I still use it every day and it really helps to keep it under control. I'm 40 years old and having been fighting acne all my life and the Proactive really does work if you give it some time and use it daily.

i've also been using the antibiotic for acne and now that i read 'hithere' mention sensitivity to the sun and nausia, I realize I've had the same side effects. I was wondering why my face burns after being in the sun for minutes and I never felt nausious before..
i guess I'll take it till the end of this month n see what happens.
btw, proactive doesn't work for me..
