This drug caused my mother (who already had Alzheimer's) to develop Tardive Dyskinesia (ie, her tongue continually protruded from her mouth) . . . as a result she could not properly eat/swallow then she developed aspiration pneumonia and suffered horribly for several weeks before wasting away and dying. Nursing home doctors are using these neuroleptics left-and-right and literally killing our elderly! The United States of America does not value its elderly population. What it does value is money (and I mean millions) going to doctors and nursing home ceo's in the form of kick-backs from the pharmaceutical industry. Everyone gets a piece of the action while the elderly (who have no voice) suffer.

My father had the same side effects. He's dead. He didn't have time to recover from the Chemo. He was eating well and walking around without a care in the world...but he had heartburn and he took Reglan...and the Reglan ruined everything. I am angry.
