how many miligrams is she on? im 38 and ive been taking lamical 200mg's for about 4 years but i also take ativan 2mg's 3 time's a day, from what i understand lamictal is used as well for mood disorder it should be keeping her on an even keel, maybe she's on the wrong dose, if you would like to talk my e-mail address is elizabethpopma@yahoo.com i hope i can help
My son takes Lamictal for Bipolar he is 9 almost 10. He has not had any issues with it. And he started it I could not handle him. I doubt the lamictal is the problem. You really need to call the doctor this is not a common side effect.
