I was prescribed labetalol during my last pregnancy because my blood pressure started elevating, I was prescribed 100 mg twice daily, and when I started taking it got terrible breast pain, I knew it was the medication because it happened exactly 30 minutes after each dose and not when I didn't take it. I discovered I could eventually get used to it if I went way back to a lower dose 25 mg twice daily and titrated up. So I had to split the pills in 1/4. But it helped a lot.

Thank you so much for your posting! I thought I was losing my mind. I have been suffering with that breast pain for 4 months now and had no other reason for the pain. It only occurred to me the other day that it might be the medication. Did they switch your medication?

No, they didn't, I'm a pharmacist so I cut my own dose back to 25 mg (I quarter the pills and took four times daily instead of twice daily) I titrated the dose back up really slow. When I mentioned it to the nurse she thought it was just the pregnancy
