I was given Levaquil after takin Cipro to get rid of a UTI. Shortly after taking a five day prescription of levaquin I started to notice pain in my right foot and knee. My doc told me to take advil and to come back in a week. A week later I still have pain, now it is in both feet, my right knee and my left ankle. It has now been six weeks. I wanted to know how long these side effects are going to last. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Get off Levaquin now !! I was on it for five days. That was two weeks ago, and I am still getting over the pain in my left foot.

I was given this drug for a hematoma I developed after surgery. About a half hour after taking, my pulse went up to 103 and my heart would not stop pounding. I not take any more. I could have had a heart attack. I would ever take this med again and plan on putting it on my allergic list.
