Yaz and Yasmin are two different pills! (http://www.yaz-us.com) For Yaz (http://www.yasmin.com) For Yasmin I have been taking Yasmin for 2 months now and everything is going great! I just wanted to post this because I noticed that some of you seemed confused and you were mistaking Yaz for Yasmin and vice versa. I did hear a lot of bad things about Yaz though. Please check out the websites.

yaz and yasmin ARE the same although admittedly yaz is a lower dose of the hormones than yasmin. both contain the drosperinone which is the "unique" progestin they rave about.they are both owned by the same company. you may be doing better on yasmin because it has a higher dose of hormones. i hope you continue to feel well but please be aware of your body and how you feel, this pill has a nasty habit of causing vague symptoms that just creep up on you. i loved it for the 1st 6 mnths then it turned my life into a nightmare.

yes, check your own websites, the actualy generic names of the meds are the same. they are in different strentghs but are the same pill. I'm glad you are doing well, but for most people the side effects would be present for both. It's the drospirenone hormone that's the likely culprit
