I have been off toprol for 2 weeks now. My legs are still very weak. I am having trouble walking. They are better in the morning then get worse as the day goes on. Some days are better than others. I have never had this problem before going on toprol. I am also depressed because of this, and I have never had problems with depression before. Still wondering how long this will take and if I should do anything to make this better. I tried massaging my legs and that does seem to help.

I think you may need to see a doctor about the legs. I have been on Toprol for over 1/12 years and never had any leg weakness. I also have stoped taking this med and I am feeling much better. The depression will start to fade, however this takes alot longer then most think. Your leg weekness is nothing to ignore, it should be checked a.s.a.p. The fact that the massaging your legs helps may be a sign of circulation problems. I am not a doctor, so please remember this is just an opinion! Good Luck and Have Good Health!!
