I get horrible migraines from all birth control. I was told this one would not have as much side effects, but i am starting to see migraines come back around the time I get my period. Is their any birth control that won't do this?

I get horrid migraines and cluster headaches. i see an awesome neurologist who has told me to stay away from all hormones if all possible. he has put me on a regular maintenance medication...norvasc (a blood pressure med) that has decreased my headaches drastically. it has been wonderful.. the only side effect is water retention...
which is controlled with another med most of the time.

my advice is to stay away from hormones if at all possible.....
