In April of this year I was prescribed Avelox for bronchitis,The first time prescribed was for 5 days, did have minor hives but didn't put two and two together....my infection did not improve so doctor wanted to try one more 5 day Avelox treatment. The first night of the second Avelox treatment ended in ER with anaphylatic shock. Warning signs started about 15 minutes after taking pill, excessive itching of hands and then thighs,nausea, sweating, gray coloration of face and then severe short breathing.
