I started taking Levaquin on Thursday October 4 for a sinus/throat infection. 5 days later and I feel wired out of my mind. Strange thoughts, increased energy intertwined with panic, wrist/hip pain, very little sleep. Severe stomach pain, constipation, nausea and vomiting, gagging reflex. Also mouth sores, and terrible taste in mouth. This has me very concerned. I am grateful that this isn't my imagination. Thanks for this forum. Why is this drug still on the market. Hi Karen and everybody else
I to was precribed this as well, for a chest ,sinus and ear infection that has been on going for over 3 weeks.
I took my first pill and felt nauses after taking it I took my second pill and started feeling worse, insomnia and nausea the night before my second pill after my second pill I felt nausea and felt like i was going to trow up all day and had diarrhea and my mood was i felt angry and depressed which isn't me.
My joints through my body hurt so bad it was unbearable.
I'am glad I came to this forum and found this information out I will tell my friends and family never to take this medication ever.
I would rather be sick than feel like that ever again.
Thanks Lilla Braun Beausejour,MB. Canada.
