Wow after reading all these postings I'm nervous, just had a kenalog shot yesterday for a possible disk problem (MRI in a week). I am concerned about the possible indentation at the injection site (lower back) as I had a similar situation develop years ago and saw a surgeon, who thought it was some calapsing of the muscle. I went in for surgery under local ann., but when they got in they found it had roots and was growing, to late to go under general and they had to dig it out. The most pain I have ever experienced, it was benign and now I had a kenalog shot in the same area and to make matters worse I still have the same pain today as I did yesterday.

I received my shot on October 2 for a trigger point. I am a nurse in the OR and work with a orthapedic surgeon. He's the one that gave me the shot. I had the usual increased energy for about 2 days. Last night was the first night that I haven't had an all night sweat-fest. Starting yesterday, I began feeling extremely weak and nauseated. I feel like I can hardly put one foot in front of another. I feel like I can hardly function. I feel like this is due to the shot. I will NOT ever ever take another shot of Kenalog again.
