Hi my 9 year old daughter was on singulair for about a month and her asthma and allergies were better than they had ever been. It was a miracle drug. Except for about two weeks in her hands began to swell and hurt in the next two weeks she could barely use either hand. The doctor said no it could not be singulair and tested her for artheritis. The test came back negative and there wasnt much the doctor could say. My baby had hands like a 80 year old and I was deperate. I took her off singulair and almost immidiate relive was there. After another month she had full function of her hands and her pain was gone
