Ok, so I had my Mirena removed yesterday...completely pain free (as was the insertion)..AND no bleeding!!! My OB was at an appt with her doctor, so I saw my former OB. He asked why I wanted it removed; I listed the 14 side effects that I could think of, and he stated that he doubts seriously that any of them had to do w the iud. A few seconds later, it was out, and he smuggly replied.."Now, my dear, you should feel 100% better!" I just smiled and said "yes, I will really soon"
