I have been on Lisinopril for about 30 days, I have developed a pain in my left side that I have not determined the cause. I realized last night that the pain started about the time I started taking this drug. I am taking myself off the drug today to see if the pain subsides, I am calling the Doc this morning. Has anyone else experienced these symptons?

I was taking lisinopril for about 4 weeks, could not sleep well. My hips started aching then my knees then down to my ankles and feet. My left ankle that I had injured 16 years ago started swelling to the point that I could not walk or even put my shoes on. I stopped taking the med over two months ago, but the ankle pain is still there. I still have slight swelling and constant pain. My doctor has yet to find anything to account for this after lots of blood work and x-rays. He doubts that the medication caused any of the problems, but can find no other explination. Going to try to find a Dr. that has stopped "practicing" and has game day plan.
