Was it Rx'ed for poison-ivy (PI) rash?
I finished a 2-wk long of prednisone treatment about 3 wks ago, with tapering down (4 days of 40mg, 4 days of 20mg, then 4 days of 10mg; each tablet is 10mg). I got over the PI. But since that I started to have some chest pain and heart palpitations. I also started to have almost persistent fatigue everyday, and my hands/feet are sweaty. I visited my cardiologist to get a check, he said my heart is ok. I also got a physical checkup from my regular doctor and had a blood test -- results are ok except glucose slight above normal. Both doctors believed that I have some kind of anxiety disorders. This drug had nothing to do with my conditions, since I didn't take high dosage, and it's tapering down, and it's stopped 2-3wks ago, so the drug should have already left my body. They asked to relax and take good rest. I'll have more tests done. I read on some forum that quite a few people had anxiety-disorder-like-symptoms *after* they finished the prednisone treatment. I guess after a couple of more wks, my symptoms will do away...
