I had the exact same thing happen to me and my doc said he had never heard of those effects. e said i was having anxiety attacks so i believed him. then last week i was put on sulfamethoxazole tmp for a staph infection and I became jittery, panic attacks, i was even hallucinating. This time i told the doc this wasn't anxiety. they did blood work and it turns out I was allergic to sulfer which is in sulfamethoxazole and ZPACK. Im not a doctor but I bet you have the same allergy I do. Tell your doc your allergic to sulfer and youll be okay because that reaction seriously made we want to die

Sounds just like me. I am prone to anxiety attacks, but not like this! I can barely sleep, feel jittery, and sweaty (I hate to sweat). I have klonopin that I take as needed for anxiety that I haven't used in ages. I needed it the past three nights. Next time I'll stick with good old Amoxil! By the way my doctor also said he has never heard of anxiety as a side effect....maybe I should send him a link to this page ; )
