I started taking Lisinopril about 2 months ago. My bp was 160/90....

I started taking Lisinopril about 2 months ago. My bp was 160/90. Since I have been on it, I have headaches almost everyday, a constant tickle in my throat, and pressure in my head. My bp also has gone up to 197/110. I called my doctor to complain about this and he said he didn't think it was the medicine. Told me to monitor my blood pressure for another 2 wks. if it doesn't go down then call him. After reading all these comments about lisinopril, I am convinced more than ever that it is the medicine. I will not be taking this medicine anymore and am definetly finding another doctor that will listen to me.
