I have been taking this for 3 days and I am a little worried. My legs feel kind of tingly and sore (started about an hour after i took the 1st pill). I am not swollen or anything...this is pretty much my only side effect, but I can't get a hold of my obgyn to ask her about it, since I have to wait 2 months to get an appointment with her...I dunno. The leg cramps can't be a blood clot this soon? This site is really worrying me now. It is not a shooting pain like they say in the pamphlet Warning Signs, just kind of a dull pain. I had a lot of leg cramps as a child and this feels just like it, but more mild.

The same thing happened to me ...and is still happening. I have been off Yasmin since the end of September. The first night I was having tingling & numbness in my legs and feet. I have been to the ER about 6 times and all test were normal.

I just stopped taking it because of the continuous leg cramps AND I started to get emotional over everything (I already dealt with that on 2 different B/C's and I just cannot do it again) and my legs already feel normal again. Not touching b/c pills ever again. I gave it 3 chances with 3 different brands and it is just not for me.

Hi! Please stop taking the yasmin pill immediately!!! I had a pulmonary embolism and dvt as a result of yasmin. It changed my life back in 2005! I was in the hospital for 3 months and wheel chair bound. By the grace of GOD I am still here... my pain started out being dull...then disaster struck. So please don't take anymore.

Get off the birthcontrol! This pill was great in so many ways: I was less moody, and it improved my acne problem some. BUT, I had the side effects that you are describing and I stayed on it for several months before discovering that I had high blood pressure. I have been off the pill for at least 6 months and my number are still higher than normal 130/135 over like 88, but not as high as they were while I was on the pill. My blood pressure has NEVER been high, always 120/75. I'm making an appointment to see a heart doc as well, because I've had strange feeling in my heartbeat with the pill and still some now, and tonight (with the steth I purchased to check my bp) I listened to my heart and a pause accompanied that lump feeling every min or so that I've been noticing for some time. IT IS SO NOT WORTH IT! Esp if you are experiencing symptoms. After hearing the bp part of my story my gyn still suggested that I tried YAZ which has a lower dose of estrogen which she thought was the cause of the high bp. No way! Do yourself a huge favor ...
