I had taken reclipsen for 6 months, and whenever it was time for me to stop taking them so my period would come on...I would bleed forever. Thus far, I have bled for 4 weeks straight. That is not normal at all

Have a blood test taken for a blood disorder called VonWillebrands. My daughter use to bleed for 26 days a month. It was only regulated by birth control. After my daughter was off birth control for a while the bleeding started all over again. After numerous blood test (complete blood counts) an associate of my daughter doctor ran the blood test for VonWillebrands sure enough she has it. It basically means that your blood does not clot correctly (to put it in laymens terms). VonWillebrands comes in 3 stages and it is hereditary. I was tested for it along with all of my immediate family none of us tested positive for it. It most likely came from her fathers side of the family. Anyhow get tested if you do have it you will have to go for clotting sessions every 3 to 4 months with a hemotologist. It could save your life if you ever have to go for sugery major dental work etc,. It is the best advice I can give anhy man or women that bleeds for excessive amounts of times.

I have the exact same issue as bbg48 and I do not have clotting problems. I have bled for 3 weeks straight. This is an actual reported side effect of Reclipsen. I am so frustrated that I am about to ask my doctor for a hysterectomy. Well at least insist on putting me back on Solia first. :).
